Council and The Friends of Kingswood Park secured development funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to develop improvement plans for the park.

We are delighted to have secured a grant of over £2.6 million from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to be used to help us restore Kingswood Park to its former glory.

Funding confirmed to deliver improvements

We want the park to play host to a series of activities and events to encourage more local people to discover their park. This would include activities focused on health and wellbeing.

If we are awarded funding to deliver the improvements, we have planned for architects to produce detailed plans with a view to construction starting in September 2024.

Kingswood Park is much loved by local people, but we're working with the Friends group and the wider community to develop plans to make it an even better place for people to spend time.
